Men of many Races once roamed these plains. There is evidence of several different civilizations apparent in the few remaining scattered, mostly ruined buildings, but somehow they all just... disappeared. The current Caelian inhabitants honour these 'Forgotten', as the vanished peoples are called among them, by retaining the buildings as monuments to them.

Skilled Caelian masons repaired the damage to the many small buildings around the prominent square in the main settlement on the plains. Obviously this used to be some meeting place to the Forgotten, and that is exactly what it is used for today. Daily markets are held here, and hawkers sell their goods around the mysterious obelisk in the center of the square.
