There are two pillar-like rock formations flanking the pass leading southwest. It is said they were created ages ago by a powerful Wizard. A magical gate was supposedly put up between the two pillars. It is unclear whether he wanted to keep anyone from crossing into the glacier beyond, or if he wanted to prevent passage out of the glacier for anyone... or anything.

Gatekeeper's Tower

Looming over you is a dark stone tower. While it is easily several hundred feet high, obviously made by magical means, it is still but an anthill compared to the rock formations beyond it. The Tower and the Gate seem to have some joined purpose, but it has been forgotten over the Ages. The Tower seems abandoned, with no footprints marring ages of dust inside.

Gatekeeper

A Golem was placed in the Tower to guard the Ocean's Gate. The Sentinel seems unaware that his Master has long since passed away. He still vigilantly keeps watch, attempting to ensure no living thing passes. The magic that created him is fading, however, and he has lost most of his mobility. He is confined to the room where he buys goods to sustain his long-gone Creator.

Ocean's Gate is currently occupied by enemy forces.
