The air above these endless sands shimmers with heat during the day, and is icy cold during the night. At night you need warm shelter to survive, while in the blazing sun you won't last long without refreshing water. Fortunately, you can see the shores of a great lake on the northeastern horizon... or is it a mirage?

Sunshade

The location of this modest tent camp shifts like the sand dunes that surround it. The coarse cloth that makes up the shelters provides shade during the day, and keeps the heat in during the night. The nomads that travel this region find welcome rest and clear water to wet their parched lips, as well as a few other goods with the desert trader.

Sado Kitri

Piercing blue eyes in a leathery face, tanned by endless hours in the relentless sun are just visible under the white linen turban of the desert trader. They seem to see right through you and determine your needs, and they shine with silent pleasure after each successful transaction, however small.
