An eagle's strong talons grab a small snake that was threatening its nest and young and carry it off. In its arrogance the snake sees the eagle as just another prey, but before it can try its tiny fangs it quite literally finds out that vanity comes before the fall. Bloodstains dot the mountain, some too big to be from reptilian snakes...

Smithhaven

The clang of metal on metal greets you as you enter this mid-sized city built on the slopes of Snakeblood Mountain. Most of Smithhaven is made up of businesses related to ironworking, from the mines and the charcoalburners to weapon- and armoursmiths. Besides these and the occasional inn to house the workers, the mountain also has an extensive quarry.

Gaelan Drover

A retired smith, this trader has massive shoulders and arms and not a gram of fat, despite his age. His trade goods are of course primarily weapons and armour, but he also trades in small amounts of luxury goods, and sets up contracts with the main quarry for all your building needs. His deals are sealed with a well-meant, but more than firm handshake.
